Welcome to the website of Thomas Gregory Hallett

Greetings All, and welcome to my Sparkling Cavalcade of Cultural Enrichment.

Coming to you from the upper reaches of the Land of Pleasant Living, this site springs from the Green Walled Lower Susquehanna basin in bucolic Harford County, Maryland. Here between Black-eyed Susans and Seagulls I explore the historical richness of the area, my family and its contributions to local industry, inveigh against popular politics and culture, and offer some humor to mitigate that which you find vexatious to the spirit of liberty.

Interspersed among the amazing facts, serious polemics, gripping stories, and curmudgeonly commentary you may find a bit of whimsey......my favorite vegetarian recipe, plans and specs for a squirrel-proof bird feeder, antique tractor pictures, and cartoons poking fun at dreadfully glum and earnest politicians.

I've categorized these pages below for your viewing convenience.........Most of the material below is truly sublime and is presented for your enrichment; Larry, Moe, and Curly offer up the lighter side to balance the bombast I hurl at our Homer Simpsonized, truculent, television drugged, and sheep-like polity.

Please take a peek at the pages linked below and enjoy.

By the way....should you have a suspicion, I have not owned a television since 1972, the last time I repaired one having a mechanical tuner. Though I still enjoy Dx-ing with my 1930's era crystal set, I confess to using a 1N34a germainum diode in place of real galena.
